Happy 2021!!!!

While our calendars have turned the page and 2020 is behind us, we continue to offer services through secure video to respect the health and safety of our staff and clientele. We hope to open our physical office in the near future however please reach out if you could use some support. A new year brings endless opportunity for growth and understanding. What will your new chapter say?

Update..

In light of the Eau Claire county health department’s recent order. We will continue offering mental health services via secure video sessions. We want to let you know we are doing our best to make decisions on how to physically open our office with the safety of all in mind. Our therapists will continue to stay informed & see what directives come on the 28th of this month.

Caronavirus UPDATE:

In response to the increased health risks associated with COVID-19, Chippewa Valley Counseling Center is taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus. We would like to ensure that counseling services remain available to our community as best to our ability.

We will be limiting the number of individuals who are seen face to face, along with offering telehealth sessions via a secure platform.  If you have not heard from your therapist by phone or email please reach out to them directly for further instructions regarding your appointment. Please be patient as we attempt to reach out to all who we serve in the next days and weeks.  We had hoped to avoid making the decision to physically close our office and it was a decision that has not come easy.  However, with the rate the virus is spreading we at Chippewa Valley Counseling Center feel it is in the best interest of our therapists, clients, and the community to allow for effective social distancing.  We continue to keep ourselves updated by the Eau Claire County Health Department, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, and the CDC.  We encourage all to keep themselves informed as well.

With much uncertainty during such a complicated situation with updates and changes occurring daily if not hourly, we encourage everyone to remain calm and practice healthy self-care.  We will get through this as a community.
Sending health and well wishes to the Chippewa Valley

Office Update

In response to the increased health risks associated with COVID-19, Chippewa Valley Counseling Center is taking measures to prevent the spread of the virus. We would like to ensure that counseling services remain available to our community as best to our ability.

Our office will be disinfected regularly and will follow social distancing with a goal for minimal time in our waiting room.  Please arrive as close to your scheduled appointment time as possible to assist us in this goal.

We encourage individuals who may be experiencing illness such as fever, cough, or flu like symptoms to contact your therapist directly to determine if attending your appointment is in the best interest of our staff and other clients.  Because our office sees a wide demographic of individuals; including age and underlying medical issues, we are striving to use our best judgement during this time and ask you to do the same. Our therapists want to continue to provide a safe space for emotional support and connection to our community.

With much uncertainty during such a complicated situation with updates and changes occurring daily if not hourly, please know our staff continues to stay informed from credible sources such as the Wisconsin Department of Health Services and the CDC.  IF it is determined we must close our physical office, we are looking at possibilities to offer telehealth services.  However, this is also a complicated task.  We ask for patience and understanding as we, a community, are all attempting to take the best preventative steps.

Sending health and well wishes to the Chippewa Valley
